You have to use astroguider and point it to the guide camera and then point astroimager to the imaging camera and that is really it. There doesn't seem to be a choice of using an Indi server in the PhD control panel. Is AstroTelescope necessary for Imager and Guider to coordinate? I tried using AstroGuider, but it would not connect even though I loaded the "Orion Atlas" driver in the INDI server window. I got EQMac and connected via a USB/serial connector to the phone jack on the bottom of the SynScan paddle and turned on PC control in Utilities. Phd2 talks to the mount via the guide camera. I'm unable to dither unless my Phd2 and AstroImager apps can talk to my mount and coordinate as to when to dither in between subs being taken. ![]() I discovered the subs need to be dithered. ![]() I have the above equipment and was having a good time with pretty good results until I noticed black streaks (cold pixels?) in my backround even with my cooled ASI1600MM.
